Colorado Blvd. I don't think you can take pictures inside, but my friend and I love going there for loose leaf teas. I especially love the herbal teas - the berrylicious tea is fantastic! This is a shame free zone! :) No, let them be motivation. We both know you appreciate good food. It's a short leap to start making it...if you want to. It's not like you're short on dining options in DC. Also? Thanks. :) No shame! This is a shame free zone! :)

The strawberry photo made me exclaim "wow!" like my three year old niece on Christmas day. Your photos shame me into wishing I was a better cook. Salivatory photos. As to the faire attire - generic tapestry bodice with a dull olive colored linen skirt and black chemise trimmed with lace. Hair wrapped securely into a tight striped turban. Coin jewelry. A psuedo-not really-Mediterranean look. I was ACHING to get some henna done, but as I have to be Executive Me during the week, I didn't think it would fly very well. Portraits are wicked challenging. But I think I'm at a point where I might be able to pull it off. We shall see. There will always be a distinct lack of me. :) But y’all have my words so it’ll have to do for now.

As for snapping people - even more challenging! I mean, people's expressions... change... whereas a strawberry is always just a lovely strawberry. And some faces just don't translate as wonderfully to 2 dimensions as might a sprig of dill. That being said, so far so good! I do notice a distinct lack of YOU in your photos, but I can certainly understand the preference for some privacy. I was hoping to at least see the Faire attire. :) As always, lovely photos.
