Although it is way beyond the original de-lurk date, I realized today you hadn’t been posting to lj anymore and have been catching up. As a Silver Spring transplant to Philadelphia, (who will be visiting San Francisco for the first time in a few weeks) it’s nice to hear you talking about good farmer’s markets back here, as well as the spectacular ones you are now privy to!

Yes, I admit, I’m a lurker. But I live in Pasadena, and I really appreciate your Farmer’s Market reports, especially when you post them before I hit the tail end of the market. It’s a wonderful preview of the what’s waiting for me, and has definitely led to me trying new things that I wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks so much for reporting on our little corner of the world!

I love to read your blog. Your farmer’s market excursions make me jealous, even though I live in Seattle where we are very lucky to have a collection of markets open all year that have really really great local and organic stuff. I can never get the courage to take pictures of the vendors’ tables though, since I don’t know anyone of them well enough. someday maybe!
