I had it for the first time at a bar that Monster Munching reviewed awhile back in Irvine. I haven't had many ciders (just Wyder's and the berry cider at BJ's Pizza) but I'm always open to trying more. Thanks for the TJ's hard cider tip! Must have a supply for the homestead I think. TJ's has a nice granny smith hard cider. And there's always the Wyder's pear cider, though it's a tad sweet for my liking. Black cherry was just naughty. :) Oh I’m a-lookin’. Must have a supply for the homestead I think. TJ’s has a nice granny smith hard cider. It sounds wonderful! If you end up going back to the Faire and you’re able to find out who sells the cider, could you please post the vendor name? It sounds wonderful!

You'll see a picture of it in the flickr thingy on the right. The red, punchy looking thing. Do not let the color fool you. It was sour and sweet and tangy with an edge that only cider has. I've become used to apple and pear ciders. But black cherry was a new one. I figured it'd be like drinking something syrupy, but I had to try it. I am ever so glad I did. Sadly, I have no idea who makes it as the label on the draft bar was handwritten and taped on. I guess I'll just have to go back and ask.
